I think improving and understanding the spacing has made the jump feel much more appealing.
It all looked a bit wierd just with the coin, but when the legs are added to complement the animation of the core, the beauty of the motion starts to be revealed.

Did you stop motion animate the linear, even spacing example as well? For a comparison of timing and spacing like in Richard Williams' video.
Max jumps better now that the spacing is better.
