Original Rotoscope
This was the original rotoscope. Not only was the main subject rotoscoped, but the environment was rotoscoped as well (on guide layers). I also tried to mimic the lighting on the 2d character based on the video reference, using motion tweens and mask layers for the lighting. Approx 288 frames.

ReplyDeleteI like the way he goes/ disappears behind the pole to reappear. It gives wonderful depth to the composition.
